Friday's Recap and Reminders

The process of building back up to full training mode after a race can be a slow one. Sometimes it's better if it's slow so that you minimize any risk for injury. But it can also feel painfully slow (like it has this week)...
This morning I started running earlier than I normally do to take advantage of the cover of darkness...

I decided to aim for 2 miles and then see how I felt. I ended up completing a 30 minute session...

My pace is slowly getting back on track...

The weather was awesome. I love these Fall temps when I'm running...

I took a post-run selfie but I didn't like how it looked so I'm not going to post it (yea, speed isn't the only thing I'm self conscious about). Plus I'm not feeling my best today...
(Ok that might be a bit dramatic...)
