Conferences, Posters & Treadmill Runs...

My Poster Went Well!!! The entire conference went well actually! There were really great speakers today and the topics were very interesting...
(we were at the historic Omni hotel)

After a day filled with lectures and a really good lunch, it was time for the posters...

I got a lot of great feedback about the guideline and some awesome suggestions on different things to look at in the future...

After a very long conference day, I was tired and hungry and I still needed to run. Initially I wanted to run outside but then I checked the weather...

I normally hate running on the treadmill because I get so dizzy and that exponentially increases the risk of me falling off. But I just could not bring myself to brave the 24 degree temps so I headed to the gym...

I run A LOT slower on the treadmill than I do on the road. It's probably because I'm afraid of falling so I force myself to go at a slower and more manageable pace. But even for me the pace felt really slow...

Once I was done I entered the run manually on Garmin Connect so that I had the proper record of my continued running streak...

Then I ate dinner and now it's time for bed 💤.

  1. I hate the treadmill but I actually find I go much faster on it! I think it has something to do with being able to just put the specific speed in right there and I can always hit stop or pull the emergency thing to stop it.
