Pace per mile...
The temperature when I woke up was even colder than yesterday so I was proud of myself for getting my butt out of bed (much less out the door)...
The sunrise...
This morning's run was nice and easy. I intentionally didn't wear my knee brace so I wouldn't go overboard because I want my legs to feel strong for my LR on Sunday. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the running year. I'm still technically in "training mode" because I have another 1/2 marathon in six weeks. And although I'm not going to the starting line of the Miami 1/2 with any PR or time expectations, I've been "challenged" to try and increase my running interval duration...and that will require a lot of work and focus on endurance...
I'm going to be rocking my GTS14s until I can get a new pair of sneakers to incorporate into my running shoe rotation...
I pay very close attention to my shoe mileage now because when I didn't I got injured. I track and total my shoe mileage at the end of each week and keep the total mileage documented in my running journal. My current mileage total for my GTS 14s (purple & black ones...pic above) is 106 miles, and the current mileage total for my GTS 13s (blue & silver ones...pic below) is 176 miles.
The GTS13s are (sadly) no longer in a position to carry me safely along my marathon journey...
See how uneven they are?
