Making a list, checking it twice...& other Random Monday Ramblings

You know that feeling you get when you're packing up for a trip and you're sure you are forgetting something? Yup, I have that. I've been working with my Christmas to-do list so that my bad memory doesn't result in anyone's gifts being left behind, which is great (when I remember to check the list)...

I finally crossed off everything on my list today! I had to blur the lines so that none of the presents would be revealed...

Except for one or two last minute items, I'm pretty much all packed up and ready to go...

I'm so excited to start my vacation!!! I'm going to eat my favorite Jamaican food and all of my other favorite cuisines...like Indian & Chinese food (did you know that Chinese food in Jamaica is the best Chinese food ever?! Well, maybe Chinatown, NY comes close but Jamaican Chinese food is #1). I'm also looking forward to hanging out with my family and friends, and running! I want to run every other day if possible. This will be my mantra...

I asked my twin sister if she would run 16 miles with me while I was home on vacation and she basically said...
(I took that as a "no")

I may not actually do a 16 mile run while I'm there, but I really do want to run every other day. My main focus will be hill training and at least one 8-10 mile run (hopefully).

The other day I went to David's Bridal to order my bridesmaid dress for my baby sister's wedding and I got a coupon for Shutterfly ($20 off!) I haven't used Shutterfly a lot but they had some cool stuff so I decided to order this photo collage to capture some of the highlights from 2014...
(It's currently sitting on my desk at work)

Not all special moments get captured on camera but today I was able to get this Kodak moment of Kaiyu with her aunty Vanessa...
(I work with some of the best people!)

Runner's World shared this motivational quote on Facebook this morning so, being the generous person that I am, I will share it with you here (Merry Christmas!)...
Remember the process!

Have you checked everything off of your Christmas to-do list?
What's the best Chinese food you've ever eaten?
Did anyone go "Shutterfly crazy" this holiday season?
