20/20 Vision...

Today was a great day (long overdue)! It started with an interval run around my complex. I did my usual 30 minutes for my routine mid-week run.....

Summary pic...

Pace per mile...

After a brief "cool down" walk I ran for 1/2 a mile as fast as I could (at that point)...
(I haven't seen a single digit minute per mile pace (based on the 1/2 mile) since March!)

This is me at the end of the session, completely happy and utterly exhausted...
(sorry it's so fuzzy)

Before I ran I did my plank challenge. It's always easier to do it prior to my workout routine because I'm usually too tired after...

I borrowed this from Instagram (@kingworkouts)...

I had a short workday today to make up for the overwhelming number of extra hours I have been working over the last two weeks (I love my directors!!!) and so to celebrate I treated myself to Thai food....
Cashew Chicken with brown rice (amazing!)

In addition to a great run, an early work day, and a fantastic lunch, the best thing about this Friday is that my mom and dad are coming to visit me!!!!!! OK, technically they are coming up to visit my brother and his family and me and my family, but I prefer to be viewed as the main purpose for their trip. I am the "favorite child" after all. That's a self-proclaimed title but I'm going to see how long it takes my siblings to make a comment about it ;)

I'm going to end this blog post with the motivation I received via my daily Milepost quote...
I have 20/20 vision when it comes to my running dreams and goals. Many of them are "far fetched" but I know what I am capable of and I will not give up on them!

What are your top three running dreams?
