Oh the things you could do...

It's Friday!!! I'm excited and in such an incredibly good mood because....yes, it is Friday...but also because I'm looking forward to this weekend!!! First, today was a running day for me (exciting!!!) and I remembered my knee brace this time...

The weather for running was amazing this morning and it's supposed to be great all weekend long! (you know it's Fall season when you see these temps finally popping up on your weather app screen)

Despite the great weather, I didn't have a great running session. My legs hurt the entire time and I felt slow and sluggish. I only did a 30 minute session...

While completing the run around my complex this morning, I came across a few other morning runners! I'm usually running by myself so it was nice to see neighbors out there running as well (even if I don't exactly know them...and they were all passing me)

Summary shot of this morning's running session...

Pace per mile (oh how I long to see a single digit minute per mile pace again)...

So I posted this on Instagram today (@thisismyfaster)...
What would you attempt???
I would run 26 marathons in a year (I mean...I can't fail right?). In the real world (where I actually live and have human limitations) I want to run several marathons, over several years. Possibly 26 marathons over the course of my running career. I know a few runners that have already done 26 marathons (or more) and I think that's soooo amazing! Jeff Galloway has run close to 200 marathons!!!

In today's photo flashback moment I came across this picture on Facebook of me and Shakeva, one of my closest friends ever. It's probably 3 years old, but it is one of my all-time favorite pictures of the two of us as we were hanging out at a baby shower for a mutual friend of ours.
I'm lucky to have great friends in my life. I'm usually one of those "have a handful of amazingly great friends" people, and I'm fortunate because my amazingly great friends are really truly amazing. Running has actually opened up my "friendship circle" and I'm also grateful for that. This weekend I'm running with new friends and old friends, so between the great weather (that's been forecast) and the great company it should be 7 great miles of fun!

What are your weekend running plans?
