Entering the last quarter of the year...

Today was a core workout day at home and the start of my plank challenge...
Wall sit for today....

Then I did sit-ups (5 sets of 20) and clamshells with my Theraband (clamshell exercise below)...

My work day went by relatively quickly (it was one of those back-to-back meeting days) so the time passed quickly.

After work I headed to Kai's soccer game. I forgot that the boys team plays first this month (usually the girls soccer team goes first) so I had over an hour to kill while waiting for her game to start. Both the boys team and the girls team won their matches and I was especially proud of the teamwork displayed by the girls throughout the game. Apart from scoring goals etc, my favorite part is when the teams meet after to say "good game"...

So apparently the Wings for Life registration has officially opened in other countries and locations, just not in Sunrise, FL where I'm planning on running...
Basically, I'm still waiting to register. I'm hoping it will open soon so I can start the whole fundraising process.

I started this year with a lot of running goals...and a lot of things have changed. As the last quarter of the year starts I have 3 months to continue to strengthen my body in preparation for another half this year and FOUR races next year...

I really like this thought....it reminds me that improvement takes time

I will be a great distance runner one day. I may not be the first to cross the finish line, but I will cross it. I will run with endurance...
