Once I completed the fridge cleaning I decided to salvage the evening with a shorter run. I went out with the "let's see how far I can go" mindset, and ended up doing a 5K...
Normally a 5K run provides more value than it's monetary equivalent (I am a runner after all)...
...but 2017 is going to be an expensive year so... an extra $5K wouldn't hurt either 😉
I ran a different route than I normally do for my mid-week solo runs and this path had a gigantic lizard that I had to jump over...
(I'm kidding, it was a regular sized lizard... but Garmin makes my vertical leap look really impressive 😊)
I also had this weird pain in the middle of my foot. It was a dull pain that I only felt when I landed on my right foot. I didn't want to risk injury by continuing to push for more miles (which is why I ended the run at the 5K mark) so I decided to keep my feet happy...
Even with the dull pain to my right foot I had intermittent periods of good paces...
And once the run was over it was time to head home and get settled for the night. Today felt extra long because of the last minute changes so I'm definitely in need of a good night's sleep tonight! I hope you had a great Monday!
Have you ever dealt with a broken fridge?
Do you think of money or miles when you hear "5K"?
How do you react to lizards? This is my response...
I hate grocery shopping too lol!
ReplyDeleteWow that jump was awesome LOL!
LOL I hate lizards! I'm surprised my jump wasn't higher ;)
