Vacation Eve & Streaking

In less than 24 hours I'll be watching the sunset on the beach...
I can't wait! I'm already in vacation-mode. I finished packing. I've made all the plans & arrangements. Now all I have left to do is sleep for a few hours before my flight. But before that I had to run...

Today marks Day #75 of my running streak! It's definitely the longest running streak I've ever done (almost twice as long as my last one) and I'm happy that I've been able to make it a part of my daily routine...

People no longer ask me "Are you running today?" but rather "What time are you running today?" or "Have you done your run yet?" That makes me so happy😀! Mainly because my friends and family took me seriously when I asked them to help me be accountable and stay committed to this running streak. And also because I've been able to do it. I've been able to stick with it even when it's hard, or the weather is not ideal, or I'm exhausted, or (most recently) when I've been sick. I'm really proud that I've been able to maintain it. And I'm grateful for every encouraging comment on this blog, or on my Instagram account, or on Facebook. Thank you 😊.

For the next three days my running streak will hopefully consist of some sunset or sunrise beach views. I plan to keep those runs short (after all I am on vacation) but I definitely want to keep the streak alive so my running gear was the first thing I packed 😉.

Do you plan your vacation runs or do you take a break from running when you're on vacation?

Do you prefer to watch the sunrise or sunset?

What's the most common running question your friends/family ask you?
